Advanced Topic Courses
Advanced Topic Courses in sleep medicine and polysomnography are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the intermediate-to-advanced sleep medicine physician and technologist.
These courses are often developed and taught by nationally known guest faculty and span a wide range of content from scoring sleep studies , pediatrics, sleep lab management and board reviews.
In addition to featuring the most current content and methodologies, the advanced topic courses attract an international audience, allowing sleep medicine practitioners the opportunity to interact with colleagues throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Advanced topic courses are offered primarily in Atlanta and are often held on weekends to minimize time away from the practice or sleep lab. All special topic programs for physicians include Category 1 CME; programs for technologists include; BRPT approved continuing education credits. Class sizes are limited to promote learning and provide ample opportunity for interaction with faculty.
