Sleep Technician/Technologist
2 nights / week; must be Registry eligible, RPSGT, or CPSGT, and at minimum A STEP + 1 year experience, preferably with ASV training/experience. Current BLS. Excellent patient relations skills, and technical skills, and able to 100% identify any life threatening arrhythmia. No additional credit for RRT, EMT or EEG experience. Must be able to accurately Stage and Score while on shift, and produce a report prior to leaving shift.
Base + Shift diff for an entry level person would total about $20 /hr, and depending on experience, could total as much as $24. / hour.

Statement of Purpose
Responsible for providing care to all patients, including history and physical examinations, patient education, diagnosing and treating common ailments, and stabilizing emergencies prior to transit to hospital.
Job Description
- Reports to Lead Physician for clinical performance.
- Provides direct and/or indirect care to a specialized caseload of patients.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
- Documents activities in the patient medical record.
- Records level of care using CPT and HCFA evaluation/management guidelines.
- Promotes continuity of care within the institution by working collaboratively and in consultation with supervising physician.
Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners or physicians assistants. Appropriate licensing/registration. Preferably 3-5 years of experience, with emphasis on family care, but willing to train the right new graduate candidate. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, other health care providers, and parents. BLS and ACLS certified.
