A 2-day course on scoring which reviews the basics but emphasizes a practice workout. This course features hands-on scoring with a unique practice opportunity.

Scoring Adult Sleep Studies will improve your understanding of scoring and your efficiency as a scorer. A low faculty-student ratio will help to ensure that your scoring questions and concerns are addressed.

Objectives

At the completion of this course, participants will have:

• Reviewed scoring rules
• Practiced stage and event recognition
• Discussed scoring strategies
• Identified scoring tips on specific PSG systems

Prerequisites

Participants should have a minimum of 6 months experience with one of the following:

TECHS:

• Recording PSGs

OR

• Scoring PSGs

PHYSICIANS:

• Interpreting PSGs*

*Note: Physicians are invited to attend this course but the content is based on the objectives above. The interpretation of the data will not be covered.
