Dr. Michael Lacey to Speak At NCAPA
Dr. Michael Lacey, medical director and faculty member for the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology, will speak at the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants summer conference. The 34th annual conference is being held at the Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The conference begins Sunday, August 15 at 1 p.m. and ends on Friday, August 20 at noon. Dr. Lacey will be presenting Thursday, August 19th at 2:45 p.m. Dr. Lacey is the only speaker covering sleep medicine and the variety of opportunities sleep medicine offers physician assistants as well as nurse practitioners.
In addition to the learning experience the conference offers, physician assistants can gain credit hours through attendance and workshop participation. NCAPA plans to request 29 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit from the Physician Assistant Review Panel. Nurse practitioners can also gain 29 credit hours through attendance.
