Atlanta, GA (Vocus/PRWEB) January 14, 2011--- The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology is proud to announce the launch of its updated WebPSG online course. The course teaches physicians to read and interpret common sleep studies, including multiple sleep latency tests (MSLTs) and polysomnograms (PSGs).

With new technology developed by Apreco, physicians can access raw data from studies from any computer using any operating system- no special browser needed. In addition to technology changes, physicians have updated purchase options.

“As many physicians use this course to update their Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs), they now have the option to purchase the studies in bundles of 25,” said Dr. Russell Rosenberg, CEO of the Atlanta Sleep School. “For each PSG interpretation completed, physicians receive 1 CME. Each MSLT study is worth .5 CME credits.”

WebPSG also features specific question and answer feedback for each study to deepen physicians’ understanding of correct methods for interpreting patient data. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to differentiate sleep stages on a clinical PSG, utilize current American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) scoring rules to interpret clinical polysomnograms and recognize abnormal waveform patterns on a clinical polysomnogram.

Currently, MSLTs and PSGs are available in bundles of 25 for $477 each. In addition to the ease and convenience of accessing the study from any computer without the aid of a special browser or software, students receive a full year access to all purchased content.
