David Westerman, M.D., D.ABSM, Diplomate ABIM-Sleep Medicine
David Westerman, MD, D. ABSM is a faculty member for Atlanta, San Diego, and San Antonio courses. Physicians and technologists throughout the country have heard Dr. Westerman's practical presentations on sleep disordered breathing.
A pulmonologist and sleep specialist, Dr. Westerman hails from Capetown, South Africa. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston and holds board certifications in pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine.
For more than a decade, Dr. Westerman's engaging teaching style has earned accolades from physicians and technicians in courses ranging from introductory level to board preparation.
Dr. Westerman is the director of the Atlanta Pulmonary Group Center for Sleep Disorders. When not treating patients or lecturing, he finds time for photography and golf.
