Accreditation

ACCREDITATION – Sleep Medicine Courses for Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners

facultyThe Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation of Credit for Sleep Medicine & Polysomnograpy course

The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine and Technology designates this live activity for a maximum of 26 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ACCREDITATION - Technology Courses

The Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine & Technology was granted accreditation as an A-STEP provider beginning November 2, 2007.

The 2013 Essentials of Sleep Technology is approved for 57.50 CRCE credit hours through the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

Specific continuing education courses from the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine are approved by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists toward the recertification of sleep technologists.

ACCREDITATION - NP/PA Courses

Courses for advanced practice nurses and physician assistants are approved for credit on an individual basis by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
